JPALS (Partners to Assist in Living Services) was founded almost 20 years ago and has since become the premier Personal Care Agency in Midcoast Maine.

My career as a physician was inspired by my physician father and my mother who was a registered nurse. The experience of watching my dad and our family lose my mother to Alzheimer's disease made me realize that families all need help with end-of-life transitions.

Seven years ago my wife and I purchased Pals to insure that the assistance my mom needed would continue to available to our community. Pals is the only Personal Care Agency in our area that is owned and managed by a physician and a registered nurse.
PALS took care of my wife's mother in her later years, we could not have done it without her.
PALS is now incorporated as PALS for Living and fully committed to helping our clients live well in the latter years of their lives.

Our PALS are ready to be your PALS! under the direction of our care manager, Jana Eggen, our team members are dedicated to providing professional, compassionate care to our clients "for Living!
